To help vessels making the transition to digital navigation, Da Gama Maritime have partnered with ECDIS Limited to provide the IMO 1.27 course model for ECDIS accreditation training which has also been awarded DNV and numerous Flag State approvals.
ECDIS Ltd.’s five day course is now regarded as one of, if not the best in the world. They can provide generic training to meet the necessary regulations in addition to type familiarisation training on certain ECDIS, the number of which is growing all the time. Having trained crews in Superyachts, the Merchant shipping community and military forces, their course notes, guides and handy cribs are a popular resource and found in more and more crew cabins and on the bridges of an increasing number of ships worldwide.
Type Specific training can be conducted at their UK headquarters for the following systems: Transas, Kelvin Hughes, OSi, Totem Plus, PC Maritime, Simrad, JRC and Tokyo Keiki.
Mobile Training is also an option at a location to suit for which DNV'd approved training is available in OSi, Transas and JRC.
